LONG STORY SHORT

I’m interested in designing for mission-driven companies where I can blend research, strategy, and writing into the work. Currently, I’m designing for personalization at Vanguard; previously, I’ve designed at The New York Times and GoDaddy. My experience designing for consumer-facing products at large companies has taught me how to drive my own process, lead with curiosity, and ground my work through storytelling.

I’ve always been moved by stories. When I was eight, I stuck gum behind my ear to replicate Violet Beauregarde’s mealtime habit from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, resulting in an unfortunate haircut. My love of reading and writing from a young age shaped me into a deeply empathetic human, which is what eventually led me into design.

I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan where I studied user experience design, business, and creative writing. View my resume here 💌

Offline, you’ll find me running on a nature trail, baking birthday cakes, tending to my calatheas, writing creative nonfiction for my blog, and dreaming about a Michigan summer.
